Laurynn's Matching Challenge
Laurynn gave $118 to help save The Babcock Theater. Will you match her gift?
At just 11 years old, Laurynn Flamini stepped up for The Babcock Theater and her community. She sold her handmade bracelets at the Balloon Rally Main Street Festival and raised $118 to help bring movies back to Wellsville.
Now we're challenging the community to match Laurynn's spirit.
Ray McClure shared incredible memories of working at the theater in the 1930s, where his wage was 50 cents a day!
It was such a pleasure hearing his stories of the theater and reflections on growing up in Wellsville. He even knew the local Western film star Gabby Hayes. - July 29th 2025
